Dan Arnold, owner and CEO of Ivo Della Builders, Inc. possesses a strong background in the construction industry, sales and business. Although a US citizen, Dan was born in Rome, Italy which is what inspired the name ‘Ivo Della’ for his company. From there Dan spent 16 years in Thailand, the son of non-denominationalvolunteer parents, where he gained experience and knowledge in multi-cultural differences which has been a key to his success. At age 18, Dan moved to the US and has since spent the majority of his time working in the trades. Dan started on the East Coast with Modular Concepts, a leader in their industry for flooring solutions with large government contracts from the White House communications building, the IRS building in Virginia, Al Gores private office in Washington D.C, and the Naval yards in Virginia. It was during this time, that he realized that he wanted to pursue becoming a business owner in the building trades. He then took a job as a carpenters apprentice with a home builders company in Maryland, and quickly moved to a supervisory position while at the same time attending a local college to gain his business degree. Dan then took his drive and growing experience to the construction sales field where he worked as project manager and supervisor for a national home improvement company in Gaithersburg, MD. This is where he gained extensive knowledge in exterior waterproofing systems, siding, windows, framing, and roofing. Once satisfied with his gained skills, and sizing an opportunity, Dan took his vision to San Diego California where he began working closely as a builder and construction Manager with his current partner and business owner Andrew Edwards. Today, Dan owns and runs Ivo Della Builders, Inc out of Torrance, CA with a satellite office in Gardena, CA.
Ivo Della builders, Inc now builds between 4-6 custom homes per year and strives to be a leader in custom home building in the south Bay and Los Angeles area.
Ivo Della’s current portfolio for homes in San Diego County include: 3 custom Homes in Del Mar, 3 complete custom remodels in Oceanside, 2 homes in Carlsbad, and 3 in Laguna Beach.
Ivo Della expansion to the LA and South Bay areas have now added to its portfolio, with: 6 custom residential homes and one restaurant in the South Bay, one home in LA county, two homes in Beverly Hills, and one restaurant in LA County.

We offer competitive pricing due to our experienced in-house tradesmen. In-house tradesmen virtually eliminate the need for hiring sub-contractors. However, Ivo Della has a trusted list of sub-contractors that share the same vision and morals as Ivo Della Builders and the combined efforts seem seamless to our clients.
Our specialization in residential custom home building is unique because our focus is specialized and differs greatly from commercial construction, tract, and spec homes.

We are licensed in 5 cities and have a vast amount of knowledge in the permitting process and public works requirements.
